Worst Cooks In America Episode #5 by Kyla Stan

This week on "Worst Cooks In America", this had to be my least favorite episode, which I will discuss later on. This week, the recruits were taught how to find and use fresh ingredients in a local supermarket. In addition to this, they were also taught how to make various types of dumplings, similar to a previous episode (they had to stop ordering takeout and create their own Chinese food).
Notice the happy faces of the Blue Team :)
After the recruits took notes on how to make the various dumplings along with a few side sauces, they were told they were not going to work individually, but on teams. The challenge this week was to work in teams and decode clues to discover what ingredients had to be used to create the dumplings. The dumplings would then be served to the shoppers in the grocery store, and whoever had the most votes, would win the challenge.  I had to say, the Red Team was much more organized, and listened to each other, but on the Blue Team, it was the complete opposite. Alina and Chet kept bickering and fighting and poor Carla tried to tell them the answers. I couldn't believe they didn't figure the clues out. I think a toddler could have understood the clues. Even after all the ingredients were found they still continued to fight!

Alina would try to show Chet something (he has an attitude to begin with) and they were fighting over how to use the food processor. Poor Carla. I feel bad she really had to deal with that immature nonsense. I also felt bad for her because she had to cook 20 dumplings but almost forgot 2! Later on, their main dish challenge was to feed bar food to a bunch of bikers at a bar. I found the food that Bobby and Anne selected to be odd and not really bar food. They chose it to make it a bit upscale, but that's not really what bar food is about. The red team seemed to belt out another win. I really like Anne Burrel. From all the seasons I have watched, she really knows how to ingrain important culinary information into the contestants heads! Unfortunately, since Carla messed up her quesadillas (she really did mess this up. They were falling apart.) she was sent home, and her little love affair with Bobby came to an end.
Stay tuned for more!
