Worst Cooks In America Episode #6 by Kyla Stan

This is it! The last episode before the finale this Sunday! I am truly excited and curious to see who is going to win. Before I get to that, let me discuss this weeks episode.

This week, the recruits got a special surprise. They had to cook for their loved ones! The dishes would then be labeled A and B, and the loved ones of the recruits had to guess who cooked what. On the red team, Sue's loved one was her son (he was so grown up for his age!) Rasheeda's guest was her twin sister, Alina, since her family is in Russia, her loved one was somebody she took care of and last but not least... Chet. His special guest was his mother. What a mamma's boy! he would not stop crying after his mother came in the room. Even Bobby Flay had to ask if he was alright and he couldn't speak. Anne Burrell laughed to herself. After the recruits met up with their guest, it was time to bring on the challenge!
For this week, the Red Team, lead by my personal favorite, the fabulous Anne Burrell, had to cook a pasta dinner. Yeah, not that easy. The dough and sauce had to be made from scratch! I think Rasheeda did very well for this test. Sue on the other hand, panicked a bit with the pasta dough. Next, on the Blue Team, Bobby Flay asked both Alina and Chet to create a Southern classic, fried chicken and greens. Even though Alina and Chet got the same meal, they both had separate recipes. Chet didn't cook his chicken right and it came out a little dark. However, Alina did pretty well! Now it was tasting time. The red team went first. Rasheeda's dish was presented first and both Rasheeda's sister and Sue's son loved it. Then Sue's dish was presented. Rasheeda's sister picked Rasheeda's dish and Sue's son picked his mother's dish. BOth were very pleased with the results.
As previously mentioned, there has been some rivalry between Chet and Alina. Now it was down to which relative was going to pick the corresponding dish. Unfortunately for Chet (I don't like him anyway,) his mother and Alina's loved one both picked her dish. Both Chet and Susan were sent home, with only Alina and Rasheeda left. Cool! I like both of them so I'm excited to see whose going to be the winner. We'll see in the next blog post :)
